The perfect canape for a sophisticated evening – or at least it will become sophisticated once you make these, and the best thing; they are super easy and quick!
INGREDIENTS
Feta cheese
Olives (drained)
Lemon
Salt
Black pepper
Sweet paprika
Fresh chives
Fresh basil
Walnuts
Tart cases
Orange
METHOD
- Pour the drained olives into a blender along with the feta cheese. Add a squeeze of lemon, a tiny bit of salt and pepper, sweet paprika, fresh chives, and fresh basil.
- Blend everything together until smooth.
- Taste to check the seasoning, then add the walnuts and blend again.
- Spoon a dollop of the mixture into the tart cases. Add a piece of walnut on top for extra crunch.
- Top and tail the orange and carefully slice away all the rind. Following the natural lines of the orange, remove the segments, then cut them into small cubes.
- Place the orange cubes on top of the tarts and finish with fresh chives.
