On Good Morning Spain we always bring you new, simple Spanish recipes- this week’s is Tuna Paté. Why buy your paté when it is this easy to make?
NGREDIENTS
Tuna
Red bell pepper
Capers
Lemon
Anchovies
Cream cheese
Olive oil
Parsley
Rocket
Black pepper
Paprika
To serve:
Bread
METHOD
- Add the tuna to a blender.
- Add red bell pepper and a couple of capers.
- Squeeze in lemon juice.
- Add a couple of anchovies and the cream cheese.
- Blend everything together until smooth.
- Season carefully, as the tuna and anchovies are already salty. Add a little olive oil and blend again, making sure to scrape down the sides for an even consistency.
- Taste and adjust if needed.
- Transfer to a bowl. If desired, chill in the fridge to firm up slightly.
- Finish with parsley, a couple of sprigs of rocket, black pepper, and a sprinkle of paprika.
- Serve with bread.
