Try this easy, simple and adapted tartar with an essential Spanish twist- salchichón! We hope you enjoy, it truly is delicious.
INGREDIENTS
Oil
Garlic
Bread
Red onion
Salchichón (fuet)
Red pepper
Pickle
Olives
Capers
Parsley
Salt
Pepper
Feta cheese
Lemon
Olive oil
1 boiled egg
METHOD
- Heat a pan with oil over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and pieces of bread to the oil to make croutons.
- Cube half a red onion into thin pieces.
- Keep an eye on the bread, making sure it goes golden brown.
- Chop the salchichón (fuet) into thin cubes.
- Chop the red pepper finely and add to a bowl with the salchichón.
- Chop thin pieces of a pickle and two olives and thinly slice capers. Add to the bowl.
- Shake and drain the croutons.
- Add parsley, pepper, salt, and crumble in feta cheese. Squeeze in lemon juice and add a dash of oil to help everything bind together. Mix well.
- Scoop the tartar on top of the croutons.
- Peel a previously boiled egg, slice thinly, and place on top, finishing with parsley, salt, and olive oil.
